Glamping
Avenida de Salvador Dalí, 23.
17488 Cadaqués, Girona
Nestled between the rugged cliffs of the Cap de Creus Natural Park and the shimmering waters of the Costa Brava, Wecamp Cadaqués is not just a campsite — it is a destination in itself. Set in one of the most enchanting corners of the entire Mediterranean coastline, this is the place where whitewashed houses tumble down to crystalline coves, where the Tramontane wind carries the scent of wild thyme and sea salt, and where the spirit of Salvador Dalí still seems to linger in every winding alleyway and golden sunset.
Wecamp Cadaqués offers a curated collection of unique accommodations — glamping tents, tiny homes, stylish apartments and cosy cottage tents — all thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape. Forget roughing it: here, comfort and nature exist in perfect harmony. Every detail has been considered, from the quality of your bedding to the view from your terrace, so that all you have to do is arrive, exhale, and let Cadaqués work its magic.
The campsite itself is a joy to explore — shaded by pines, buzzing with the gentle rhythm of cicadas, and anchored by the beloved El Trastocat restaurant, where sharing platters of fresh local tapas, creamy croquettes and wood-fired pizzas turn every evening into a celebration. Whether you are a couple in search of a romantic hideaway, a family craving adventure and space, or a group of friends ready to discover one of Spain's best-kept secrets, Wecamp Cadaqués welcomes you with open arms and an unhurried Mediterranean pace.

Cadaqués has a way of making you feel like you have stumbled onto the set of a film — and its surroundings only add to that sense of wonder. Just steps from the campsite, the old town of Cadaqués invites leisurely wandering through cobbled lanes lined with art galleries, boutique shops and café terraces that spill out onto sun-drenched squares. The fishing harbour is the heart of village life, where colourful boats bob gently and the catch of the day makes its way straight to the tables of local restaurants.
The Cap de Creus Natural Park, Europe's easternmost point and one of Spain's most dramatic protected landscapes, begins practically at the campsite's doorstep. Its lunar-like rock formations, hidden coves and wild coastal trails make it an unmissable adventure for hikers, cyclists and kayakers alike. The park can also be explored by 4x4 jeep tour — a thrilling way to reach viewpoints and secret beaches that most visitors never find.
Culture seekers will be delighted to discover that the Casa-Museu Salvador Dalí in nearby Portlligat — the surrealist master's lifelong home and studio — is just a short walk along the seafront. The towns of Roses and L'Escala, with their wide sandy beaches and lively markets, are easily reachable by car, and the medieval city of Girona, with its cathedral, Jewish quarter and world-famous restaurant scene, is under an hour away. For those who prefer to stay closer, the beaches and coves of Cadaqués itself — Es Pianc, Sa Conca, Cala Nans — offer some of the clearest water on the entire Costa Brava.
Wecamp Cadaqués is an adults-and-families-friendly site that prides itself on a relaxed, respectful atmosphere. Private tents are not permitted on the pitches, but motorhomes and campers are warmly welcomed alongside the full range of unique accommodations. Pitches come with electrical hook-up, and the site is well served by clean, modern sanitary facilities.
The campsite holds Biosphere certification, reflecting a genuine commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism — so you can feel good about your stay as well as enjoy it. The wecamp app is your best companion on site, offering easy access to activity bookings, local guides, restaurant reservations and campsite information all in one place.
Cadaqués is a village that rewards those who arrive in the shoulder season — May, June and September are particularly magical, with warm temperatures, quieter roads and a more authentic local atmosphere. The narrow winding road into town (the famous GI-614) is spectacular but demands a careful driver; caravans and very large motorhomes should check access restrictions in advance. Parking in the village itself is limited in high summer, so the campsite's location is a genuine advantage — everything is within comfortable walking or cycling distance.
Pets are welcome in selected accommodations and pitches, so four-legged family members need not be left behind. The El Trastocat restaurant on site serves breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the season, and the bar area is the perfect spot for a cold Estrella Damm as the sun dips behind the mountains. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out by 12:00 PM. Early arrival or late check-out can be arranged subject to availability.
