If you like beautiful, peaceful nature and a campsite that has everything to offer, you've found the right place! Åkulla Outdoor Resort is located sublimely by Lake Yasjön in Varberg municipality. The campsite has been run by a family for three generations, so we have both experience and love for everything that has to do with camping.

Åkulla is a 50 square kilometre nature area taken from the most beautiful of poems. Here you'll find pitches, tent sites and cosy cabins to stay in. Åkulla Outdoor Resort is the perfect campsite for those who want to get away from it all and pamper body and mind. Our resort is located in the middle of the countryside, which is exactly how we like it.

Åkulla Outdoor Resort has large areas where children and adults can run around and indulge in various activities. So you can easily bring your football or whatever makes you happy!

You'll also find the following amenities: latrine emptying station, grey water & fresh water, environmental station, heating cabin with showers and more.

Within the camping area we have a beautiful sandy beach where you can easily spend the whole day from morning to evening enjoying the sun, picnics and swimming.

With Lake Yasjön as a neighbour, there are of course water activities our visitors can try out. We have SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boards) for hire. This is a wonderfully relaxing activity that requires no prior knowledge or experience. But if you are inexperienced, you can expect to fall into the water a time or two! We also have canoes for hire with room for 2 people in each canoe. Do not miss our rowing boats that can be used if you want to fish in the lake.

Fishing licences can be purchased digitally from iFiske directly through this link https://www.ifiske.se/fiske-yasjon-antasjon-och-stora-asjon.htm. our dear lake has plenty of Perch but also Pike and Pikeperch. There are also tench and eel, as well as signal crayfish.

But wait here now, where is the sauna I hear you ask? Our answer to this question is that right by Lake Yasjön there is a delicious wood-fired lake sauna for hire. The sauna has room for about 8-10 people and costs SEK 500 per hour. Sauna and bathing in the lake, what more could you need to feel good?

If your stomach starts to rumble after a long day of activities, you just need to come by ÅKULLA KÖK & CAFÉ where we serve delicious food at favourable prices. The menu varies depending on the season and the water we serve comes from our very own water well. If you would like to grill your own food, we have nice barbecue areas within the camping area.

Outside the camping area is a paradise for both hiking and cycling. There are several roads and trails to choose from.
