Alevi Camping

Alevi Camping is beautifully situated by the clear river Klarälven in the heart of Värmland, surrounded by unspoilt nature, vast forests and mirror-like lakes. This family-run campsite has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for both nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The campsite offers 60 spacious pitches (approx. 120 m²) for tents, caravans and motorhomes, all with access to electricity. In addition, it is possible to rent fully equipped cabins and safari tents, both with and without private bathrooms, depending on your preferences. For the children there is a nice playground with sandpit, swings, slide and seesaw, as well as a volleyball court and table tennis table for some extra activity.

The service building contains fresh sanitary facilities, a kiosk with limited supplies and a cosy reception/café where you can buy coffee, tea, cocoa and ice cream from classic SIA. Cinnamon buns and Danish pastries are baked every day for you to enjoy an authentic Swedish fika.

On weekdays, dinner is served in the bistro between 18:00-19:30, while weekends offer take away with fries and burgers. You can also enjoy breakfast in the restaurant (pre-booking required).

At Alevi Camping, the activities are as varied as the landscape. Here you can hire a canoe and paddle on the Klarälven river, where you can glide calmly downstream and pause on sandbanks for swimming, picnics or barbecues. The campsite also organises the opportunity to build and ride your own rafts - a unique and unforgettable experience!

For cycling enthusiasts, there are marked cycling trails, and you can hire mountain bikes directly on site. Adventurers can join a moose safari and get the chance to see the king of the forest in his natural habitat, or go on a beaver safari with a canoe and guide in the evening.

For those who want to try something different, there are trailing dog walks, Sami craft workshops, and western-style horseback rides through Värmland's beautiful forests and meadows. There's also the option of swimming with horses or a horse-drawn carriage ride.

Alevi Camping is open during the summer season and welcomes both small and large groups seeking genuine nature experiences. All activities such as canoeing, rafting, moose safaris and beaver safaris should be booked in advance, especially during the high season.

It is possible to book breakfasts and dinners directly at the campsite, making your stay extra convenient. Don't forget to bring your swimwear for a dip in the Klarälven river or after a hot day of adventure. The campsite is child-friendly, and dogs are usually welcome but please check in advance.

The nearest services are in Stöllet, where you'll find a small shop, and a larger selection can be found in Torsby, about 30 minutes away by car. Värmland also offers many beautiful excursion destinations for those who want to combine camping life with day trips.
