Ängby Camping has a unique location with its proximity to Stockholm City. Along the glittering shoreline of Lake Mälaren, guests feel the calm of nature and easily forget that they are actually at a city campsite. With its excellent connections around Stockholm, Ängby camping attracts both Swedish and foreign tourists.

Right next to the campsite is Ängby friluftsbad where you will find piers, a water slide and a newly opened restaurant. Around Ängby Camping you will find nice jogging trails in mixed terrain. If you have your four-legged friend with you on vacation, you can cool down in the dog pool nearby.

The reception has a nice selection of basic goods, including fresh bread throughout the high season. There is also a kiosk and a café that is very popular during the summer.

The proximity to Stockholm is of course a big reason why Ängby camping attracts so many guests from all over Europe. The capital of Sweden is a tourist destination that is becoming increasingly popular around the world. Here you can feel and see the wings of history, the mighty architecture of Gamla Stan can take days to walk around and explore. Cozy cafes, restaurants and shops are located next to each other and are ready to give you a unique experience. Guided tours can be booked every day in several different languages. Also located here is the Royal Palace, home to the Swedish monarchy and royal couple. It has been here since the 13th century and is very well preserved and visited.

In addition to the Old Town, there is a bustling nightlife full of restaurants, bars and cafes from Södermalm to Östermalm. Neighborhoods that all put their own stamp and vibe on Sweden's capital. One tip is to buy a day pass for local traffic and get around the city and discover places that are outside the classic Old Town district, when you're done with the obligatory sightseeing that is.

For those who want to see other exciting tourist destinations, Drottningholm Palace is only six minutes away by car. There are guided tours here every day. A lovely café is located right next to the palace and the area is fabulous and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Of course, Stockholm offers much more than this. Ask the reception for tips on activities!
