Åsengården

At the top of Solleröåsen in central Dalarna and with a stunning view of Lake Siljan is Åsengården. Here we dare to promise that we have among the best views in Dalarna. We are next door to both Lake Siljan and nature as far as the eye can see, taken from a storybook. We can also arrange everything from small conferences to the wedding of your dreams. The facility can also be rented for parties, courses and business lunches.

In addition to our unbeatable view, you can also find nice cabins, stands and tents with or without EL.

Inside the campsite we can first of all mention our very appreciated restaurant where we use as much as possible locally produced ingredients in our effort to benefit the local business community. This means, for example, that the lamb comes from Sollerön. The restaurant of course has full rights. In the same premises as the restaurant there is also a meeting room.

In the magical primeval forests outside Mora, among high mountains, lakes and waterfalls, lie the fabulous worlds of Tomteland. Here you'll find Troll Kingdom, Dragon Land, Forest Gnome Village, Elf Kingdom, Fairy Tale Square, Enchanted Forest and other magical places filled with magic that you've only visited in fairy tales. You are the hero in the middle of all the adventures together with living elves, dragons, fairies, gnomes and trolls...

The adventures take place outdoors all around the 18-hectare park, sometimes as big musical performances and sometimes as various exciting activities where you and the fairytale characters get up to mischief and fun together. Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a really fun amusement park with a water park, playland, high ropes courses, activities and carousels for both small and large children. It takes about 40 minutes by car to get to Leksand Sommarland from Åsengården.

During the autumn, the forests on Åsen offer the best conditions for berry and mushroom picking.
