Indoor swimming pool and wellness
Take a dip in the indoor pool with a separate children’s pool at the Pettneu Wellness Park, located right next to the park. Here you will also find extensive wellness facilities (available at an additional charge), such as a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin. The entrance ticket for the swimming pool can be collected at our park’s reception. Please note: use of these facilities is only included with the accommodations and the Valluga & Arlberg camping pitches, not with the camper pitches without private sanitary facilities.
Sanitary
At Camping Arlberg, you can enjoy the ultimate camping comfort with the luxury of your own private sanitary facilities. Start your morning with a relaxing warm shower and freshen up in complete privacy during the day, now that’s what we call a real holiday!
Please note: Camping Arlberg does not have any communal sanitary facilities. If you book a pitch without private sanitary facilities, you will use your own sanitary amenities.
Laundry room
We like to keep things fresh, even on holiday! In the park’s launderette, you can easily use washing machines and dryers. Your favorite outfit will be ready again in no time for another day full of mountain adventures.
WiFi
Stay connected with home or share your best holiday photos instantly with friends and family, the park’s free Wi-Fi network keeps you connected everywhere. Perfect for a relaxed evening on the veranda or for planning your next hiking route.
Playground
There’s plenty of fun for our little holidaymakers! Swinging, sliding, playing in the sandbox, or climbing on the jungle gym, just outside the park gate you’ll find a playground where children can have endless fun. While the kids laugh and play, parents can enjoy a peaceful moment and the beautiful view.

The location of Austria Parks Camping Am Arlberg makes it a prime gateway to the wider Arlberg region—one of Austria’s most legendary mountain playgrounds. In winter, you’re just a short shuttle or scenic walk from the Arlberg ski area, boasting 305 km of pistes and 88 lifts with reliable snow from December through April. Riders of all levels will find terrain to suit them, while non-skiers can enjoy snowshoeing, winter hiking, and cross-country skiing right from the campsite.
In summer, the surrounding landscape transforms into a lush paradise of hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and more. Scenic routes crisscross the valley and nearby forests, taking you to turquoise-hued alpine lakes, panoramic viewpoints, and traditional mountain huts where you can sample Tyrolean cuisine.
Within 10 km, you’ll find restaurants, bars, and shops in St. Anton am Arlberg, one of Austria’s most popular alpine towns, rich with après-slope dining, boutique shopping, and lively nightlife. There’s also a sports park (arl.rock) nearby for climbing, bowling, trampoline fun, and more—great for families or mixed-interest groups. For cultural excursions, charming villages like Strengen, Schnann, and St. Christoph are within easy reach, each offering local markets, historic churches, and traditional festivals.
If you’re in the mood for a day trip, beautiful Tyrolean towns like Innsbruck lie a bit further afield (reachable by car or regional train) with museums, zoos, and urban attractions blended with majestic alpine views.
Before you arrive, it’s helpful to know this campsite blends rustic alpine charm with modern comforts, so planning ahead makes for the smoothest holiday possible. Most camping pitches (especially those with private sanitary) are generously sized, usually around 100 m², so booking early — especially for peak ski season and summer weekends — is highly recommended.
Although there aren’t central shared washrooms at this site, many pitches include private bathrooms directly on your spot, a unique luxury for campers who prefer convenience and privacy. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park—handy if you work remotely or plan to stream travel photos.
If you plan to use the Wellnesspark Pettneu facilities, be sure to check whether your reservation (e.g., private sanitary pitch) includes free entry—you’ll want to pick up your pool access card at reception after check-in. Note that premium services like sauna access may have additional charges.
Pets are warmly welcome here, making this an excellent choice for dog owners seeking alpine trails right from the campsite. If you’re traveling in a campervan, ensure your vehicle fits the motorhome pitch and that you’re comfortable without on-site private sanitary if you book the basic pitch.
Finally, local buses and shuttles make it easy to explore the wider Arlberg region without driving, and plenty of hiking and cycling paths begin just steps from your campsite—so pack comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure!
