The courtyard area is safe for children, with a 200-metre driveway and the swampy Lake Hanhijärvi bird lake, home to cranes and whooper swans in March and September, a wonderful soundscape. The garden has a small sandpit, a slide suitable for children from about 2 years old, a small playhouse, swings and a large Acon trampoline.

The yard is perfect for stargazing, with no light pollution except for distant echoes, and a bird's eye view of the Milky Way over the yard.

It is about 2.6 km on foot to the bird tower at Lake Central, or 1.3 km from the parking lot at the Monako track. Our swimming beach recommendation is Kaalisaari in the centre of Sastamala. Citymarket, the nearest grocery store, is 8.5 km away.

Sastamala has many hiking trails, such as the Ritajärvi nature reserve and the Pirunvuori trails. There are also several birdwatching routes. There is also a house for children in the centre of town, and Sastamala has a couple of livestock farms. There is also plenty of cultural offerings, including the Tyrvää Pappila milieu and quality gallery and museum facilities. See more on visitsastamala.fi!

Guests will be personally welcomed and guided to the site. At the same time, we will go over the facilities included in the accommodation. If for some reason we are not noticed when you enter the courtyard, you will find us in the brown brick house.

You can book the fire shelter and the Satukurki cottage without linen or rent linen from us (10 €/person). You can rent 3 sleeping bags for the tree house. Ask for breakfast, it varies according to the type of accommodation.

During the summer season, a sauna in the personal Bedford trolley sauna can be booked (30 €/1,5h).
