Comfortable and memorable accommodation in a natural atmosphere in the countryside of Sastamala in Pirkanmaa:

The courtyard area is safe for children, with a 200-metre driveway and the swampy Lake Hanhijärvi bird lake, home to cranes and whooper swans in March and September, a wonderful soundscape. The garden has a sandpit, 2 slides, swings, a large Acon trampoline, a seesaw and a frisbee golf basket with discs.

The courtyard is perfect for stargazing as there is no light pollution except for distant echoes, and the Milky Way is visible from the courtyard. You can rent a telescope on site!

It is about 2.6 km to the bird tower at Keskistenjärvi, or 1.3 km from the parking lot at the Monako track. Our swimming beach recommendation is Kaalisaari in the centre of Sastamala. Citymarket, the nearest grocery store, is 8.5 km away.

Sastamala has many hiking trails such as the Ritajärvi nature reserve, Pirunvuori trails and Rusu trails. There are also several birdwatching routes. There is also a house for children in the town centre, and Sastamala has a couple of livestock farms. There is also plenty of cultural offerings, including the Tyrvää Pappila milieu and quality gallery and museum facilities. See more on visitsastamala.fi!

Guests will be personally welcomed and guided to the site. At the same time, we will go over the facilities included in the accommodation. If for some reason we are not noticed when you enter the courtyard, you will find us in the brown brick house.

You can book the Satukurki cottage without linen or rent linen from us (8 €/person). You can rent a sleeping bag (€15/person) or order a simple but tasty breakfast basket (€9.50/person).

During the summer season, you can book a sauna in the personal Bedford trolley sauna (€30/1,5h).
