If you want a truly natural camping experience, you should visit us at Birgitta Apiary. Just as the name suggests, we have bee farms here and we can teach you everything that has to do with bees! With us you will find nice pitches for rent. Welcome!

Our facility is wonderfully located in the countryside, but you could also say out in the countryside. Here we are surrounded by nature and the stress and pulse of the big cities are far away. You can come here to really relax.

During the summer we organize bee safaris where you dive into their world and learn everything related to these beautiful creatures. The safari lasts about 1 hour and of course we provide the protective clothing! We promise that this will be an educational experience and that you will never look at bees the same way again.

In our café we bake our own organic cakes and pies but we also sell delicious sandwiches. The sandwiches are made from our own baked sourdough and the toppings are either grown here by ourselves or in the local area. Here there is something for everyone regardless of allergies and we also always serve gluten and lactose-free options and also vegan options.

Within the campsite you will also find our cozy cottage and here we organize various activities such as music activities and crafts. The whole cottage can also be rented for private events. Please ask us for more information! Here we also sell honey and other crafts. Feel free to drop by the shop!

Outside the campsite you will find beautiful trails to hike or cycle along. The view here is the typical Scanian countryside. The area is very flat, which makes hiking and cycling easy and comfortable for everyone.

The campsite is pretty much midway between Emmaboda and Nybro. These charming little towns are located 15 and 17 kilometers from the campsite and have a surprising amount to offer their visitors. In Emmaboda, for example, you can visit the amusement center where you can go go-karting, laser tag and paintball to name but a few.

For less adrenaline-filled activities, you can visit The Glass Factory Glass Museum or why not Emmaboda Brewery?

In Nybro there is a James Bond museum and a very lovely town center that is very cozy to walk around.

Only 8.6 km from the campsite, we also have Glasrikets Älgpark where you as a visitor can see moose up close. There is also a pond where you can fish for planted rainbow trout.
