Welcome to Camping Borken am See, a fantastic 4.5-star family campsite located on the shores of the beautiful Pröbstingsee lake in the heart of the Münsterland region in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Situated in the stunning Hohe Mark Nature Park, this lively and well-equipped campsite is the perfect destination for families with children up to around 13 years old, offering an incredible range of activities, facilities and nature right on your doorstep.
The campsite sits directly on the lake, giving guests access to a sandy beach, a water playground and a wonderful sunbathing lawn. Cool off in the outdoor swimming pool — a brand new 240m² pool with a gradual slope suitable for all ages and a separate toddler pool with fountain — or explore the lake by pedal boat. For the adventurous, the adjacent climbing forest (Kletterwald) features 10 different routes at varying heights, suitable for all ages from toddlers to adults. The campsite also boasts an adventure golf course, multiple playgrounds, bouncy castles, a 25-metre air trampoline, a curved trampoline, climbing frames, and a 30-metre zipline — there is truly never a dull moment.
During the school holidays (18 July – 21 August 2026), the enthusiastic animation team organises a full programme of activities including mini disco, crafts, sports and games, with the beloved campsite mascot Borky the Bear making regular appearances. The campsite is entirely car-free, so children can safely roam and play independently throughout the grounds. A brasserie and restaurant overlook the lake, and a kiosk and pool bar are available for quick snacks and drinks.of your park
