Byrkjelo Camping

In the majestic surroundings south of Byrkjelo you will find Byrkjelo Camping, with the landmark Eggenipa towering at the end of the valley. Our facility offers a variety of accommodation options to meet your needs. We have spacious campsites for caravans, fixed surface car parks for motorhomes and grass pitches for tents, all close to the river.

Our sanitary building contains a kitchen, laundry, toilets and showers, family rooms and accessible bathrooms for the disabled. We have common living spaces and seating under the roof. Free wireless internet is available in the common areas. Outdoors there is a large playground, a barbecue hut and a campfire. Here you will also find a large tent that can be used for social events or as a shady place on hot summer days. The campsite also has a heated swimming pool which is open daily during the summer months.

We offer spacious campsites with power outlets for caravans and motorhomes, with firm ground. There is also a separate green area for tents without electricity by the river.

On a single day trip, you can go from surfing at Stad in the west to visiting Briksdalsbreen in the inner part of the fjord. Nature and adventures await in all directions.

For your comfort, Byrkjelo Camping offers modern sanitary facilities that are always well maintained. The facility has wireless internet which is free to use in the common areas. A shower costs NOK 10 for 4 minutes, and you can buy value tokens at reception. There are also washing machines and tumble dryers available for a fee of NOK 50 per cycle.
