Camp Borga

Hello and welcome to Camp Borga! Camp Borga is located in the beautiful mountain village of Borgafjäll in Dorotea municipality in southern Lapland. Camp Borga is open all year round, summer and winter.

Here you stand nicely with your motorhome or caravan and always have access to a service house containing toilets, showers, saunas, drying rooms, dishwashers and also a washing machine. There is also a playground available for the smaller people in our lives.

This place is located along the seven rivers art route and the village, the area, the mountain is often called Borgarbydgen. The village has 100 lovely inhabitants and offers everything from adventurous to classic quiet mountain environment with fresh air and low stress levels.

The area is also a center for the Sami people who live in the Voernese Sami village. In the village you will also find an ICA store, pharmacy, post office, games and a delivery point for the systembolaget.

Next to Camp Borga we have both Johannas Fjällkrog and Snowcamp snowmobile center. At Johannas Fjällkrog you eat and drink well during your stay. Here you have a popular meeting place that is suitable for a visit at any time of the day. The menu varies according to the season's ingredients. A good tip is the Arctic char! They also often have a good supply of chanterelles and all the dishes you can create with this yellow gold.

When you've eaten well and recharged your batteries, it's time for adventure, and you'll find it at Snowcamp snowmobile center. Bring your friends, family or maybe the conference on a fully equipped snowmobile safari and experience the magical and mile-long snowmobile trails in the surroundings. Here the driving is completely adapted to you and your wishes. This is a full-day adventure where even food is included! Snowmobiling is allowed on Borgafjäll between December and May 5, after which there is a snowmobile ban.

In addition to this, you will of course also enjoy skiing both in length and downhill (13 slopes of different character) here at Borgafjäll. Also try the so-called "Catski". Here you get the chance to be pulled up on the peaks with one of the large piste machines. Enjoy long and unique runs in a wonderful off-piste. A full day with 4 runs that of course ends with après-ski!

Are you visiting the resort in the summer? Then you have the chance for fantastic hiking, berry & mushroom picking and a captivating mountain nature. Even the fishing around Borgafjäll is of high quality that suits most fishermen. Fish both in stagnant and flowing water!

From June to September it is both hiking and hunting season in the area.
