Camp Järvsö

A warm welcome to Camp Järvsö! Camp Järvsö is located in the heart of Hälsingland where both winter and summer are characterized by beautiful nature and wonderful activities. At Camp Järvsö you can easily stay on one of the pitches or why not try something new and book a night in the enchanting glamping tents?

The facility offers experiences and training opportunities in the fantastic forest areas and in the evenings you enjoy both good food, drink and music. In the area you will find 20 campsites that are only a stone's throw away from the reception, restaurant, service center and lots of activities. The sites include both electricity and wifi for the connected individual.

If you visit the service house, you will find both laundry and dishwashing facilities. Toilets and showers are available in the gym's nice spaces. The campsites themselves are graveled for parking a motorhome/caravan and next to the site you also have a piece of lawn. At Camp Järvsö, emptying of latrine or gray water is not currently offered, so be sure to plan when it is emptying time a little in advance.

Camp Järvsö serves good food in the restaurant and when you stay here you can make options for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the summer and more specifically on Wednesdays, a lovely barbecue evening is also offered, which has been very popular over the years. Come and socialize with lovely people and enjoy the beautiful summer evening! If you like to cook your own food, you of course also have access to one of our 4 barbecue areas that are scattered in the area.

To add is that the price of your accommodation also includes full use of our fine training facilities. Run a strength session in the gym, a yoga session in the yoga room or challenge yourself in our "outdoor arena" where you will find a climbing wall, coordination course, bike course, football field and much more! Camp Järvsö also offers several leader-led sessions that you can participate in.

In addition to the fantastic activities offered in and around the camping area itself, we of course find Järvsö and thus also Järvsöbacken. It offers wonderful skiing both downhill and cross-country. If you are looking for the more adrenaline-filled option, you can choose from 20 different slopes in Järvsöbacken. There is a slope for everyone! If you like to enjoy cross-country skiing, you will find 85 km of classic tracks and also 18 km of "skate" tracks in the Harsa area.

If you instead want to bring the family and look at animals under controlled forms, you will find Järvzoo. Here the animals live in their natural environment and you can see everything from moose, wolf, lynx to wolverine musk ox and reindeer. If you want to continue on the adventurous path, Järvsö and Hälsingland offer a large number of activities such as rafting, climbing, research kayaking, Zip & climb and much more!

If you want to take a quieter day and do some shopping, a visit to Ljusdal is recommended.
