Camp Sjusjøen

Welcome to our idyllic campsite surrounded by beautiful nature in Mesnali, which is open all year round. We are only 15 km from Lillehammer and 6 km from Sjusjøen. Here we have available 20 fixed pitches for caravans and mobile homes that can be used all year round. In the summer, we have space for 30 caravans and motorhomes, some of which are drop-in spaces. There is a power outlet with a rate of 16 amperes. There is a grocery store only 300 meters away which is open every day.

We offer a range of facilities at our campsite including:

• Emptying station for toilets in the immediate vicinity
• Laundry room and drying room
• Newly renovated shower facility with two nice family bathrooms in a separate building
• Toilets and showers
• Outdoor activities such as chess, football field, volleyball, climbing wall, bouncy castle and swimming beach

We also offer wifi throughout the campsite, but some caravans and cars may experience poor coverage indoors.

We have cabins and apartments for rent, with beds for 2-40 people. All units are well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including crockery, duvets, pillows, highchairs and beds. Bed linen can either be brought with you or rented from us. All units have a private bathroom with a shower, and some also have a washer and dryer. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing days, and there are activities in both summer and winter.

The summer

In our area you will find a range of play equipment for children such as swings, rope courses, bouncy castles and sandboxes, etc. In addition, we have our own football pitch, volleyball pitch, badminton and basketball. A nature trail is also available throughout the summer. Lake Sjusjøen is 6 km away with great cycling and skiing tracks, and there are many exciting hiking trails in the area. The Olympic city of Lillehammer, with its many attractions, is 15 km away, while Hunderfossen Family Park, Lilleputthammer and Hafjell are 25 km away. Sjusjøen Ski Centre, with its cross-country arena, alpine slope and jib park, is only 3 km from the campsite.

The winter

The light trail is right next to the campsite, and we offer access to ski stables with lubrication profiles. We are in the middle of the Birkebeinerriket, in the heart of winter sports. The area offers 350 kilometers of the world's best ski trails, and Sjusjøen's trail network stretches all the way down to Mesnali. Winter camping with us is very popular, and we have 32 power outlets with 16A fuse. The winter camping season extends from 1 September to 1 May, and you can enjoy both autumn and winter in the mountains. We also have spaces available for drop-in for both caravans and motorhomes, but we ask that you let us know a few days in advance so that we can prepare a space for you. Plowing to the cart is included in the season price.

In the main building, "Vangen", you will find a small reception with a kiosk, as well as offices. It is also possible to rent canoes. Near the campsite (300 metres) you will find a church, grocery store, hairdresser, foot care and more.
