Description

Camp Wine Cupen is a peaceful, family-run winery farm in Kozarevac, northern Croatia, offering a relaxing camping experience away from busy tourist areas. Surrounded by vineyards, green hills and woodland, this is a particularly appealing stop for campers and motorhome travellers looking for a quiet place to slow down, enjoy nature and discover Croatian wine culture.

The campsite offers 8 camping pitches, creating a small and personal atmosphere rather than a large, busy campground. The pitches can accommodate motorhomes, caravans, tents, cars with rooftop tents and coach-built motorhomes, with a maximum vehicle length of 11 metres. The property is open all year, making Camp Wine Cupen suitable for both summer camping trips and quieter off-season touring.

One of the highlights is the complimentary wine tasting. Guests can enjoy the wines produced at the family winery while taking in the peaceful vineyard surroundings. The experience is complemented by opportunities to walk through the vineyards and explore the surrounding hills and forests. Current campsite information also describes the pitches as being surrounded by greenery and close to the vineyards.

The nightly price is designed to keep things simple, with water and electricity included. The property also provides sanitary and practical facilities, including toilets, showers, fresh water, wastewater disposal, chemical toilet disposal, waste facilities and laundry facilities. Wi-Fi is available through Starlink, and the campsite information provides the password for guests.

Dogs are welcome at no additional charge, making the campsite a convenient choice for travellers exploring Croatia with their pets. Guests can also enjoy the peaceful surroundings on foot, with hiking opportunities and scenic routes around the vineyard area. For those who enjoy cycling or motorcycling, the wider Bilogora and Podravina region offers a mixture of quiet roads, countryside landscapes and outdoor routes.

With only eight pitches, a winery atmosphere and a complimentary tasting included, Camp Wine Cupen offers something rather different from a conventional campsite. If you are travelling through northern Croatia and want a memorable overnight stop surrounded by vineyards, this small wine farm is well worth considering.

Water and electricity are included, and the campsite information also confirms access to toilets, showers, fresh water, wastewater disposal, chemical toilet disposal, waste facilities, Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.

Check-out is flexible, with no fixed checkout time stated by the host. Dogs are welcome without an additional charge. Free Starlink Wi-Fi is available, and the host provides the password to guests. WhatsApp can also be used to contact the hosts.

When arriving, follow the main road from Kloštar Podravski. As Camp Wine Cupen is a small rural property, the hosts ask guests to contact them by phone or message if they arrive when nobody is immediately present; someone will come to welcome them shortly. This is worth keeping in mind when planning your arrival.

The winery experience is an important part of the stay. Guests can enjoy a complimentary wine tasting and spend time walking through the vineyards. During the grape harvest period, special events may also take place. The host has announced a grape harvest and end-of-harvest celebration on 5 September, including breakfast, grape picking, lunch and music, with food and drinks provided by the Cupen family. Guests interested in participating should contact the hosts in advance.

Because this is a peaceful winery farm rather than a large commercial holiday park, the atmosphere is best suited to travellers looking for tranquillity, nature and personal hospitality. If that sounds like your kind of Croatian getaway, booking one of the limited eight pitches in advance is a good idea.
