The site is spacious, with over 150 pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents, many of which come with electricity and lake views. In addition, there are 20 cozy cabins for those who prefer a little extra comfort, each equipped with beds, a kitchenette, and a terrace for evening relaxation.

Guests can enjoy a range of facilities to make their stay as comfortable as possible: modern sanitary buildings with hot showers, laundry and drying machines, a camper service station, and free Wi-Fi across most areas. For families, there is a large playground, a mini-golf course, and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

Food and social activities are also a big part of Campcation Camp. A campground restaurant and bar serves Swedish classics and international favorites, while a small shop provides fresh bread, snacks, and daily essentials. Within a 10-minute drive, you’ll find a small village with restaurants, cafés, a supermarket, and traditional craft shops. For a deeper cultural experience, a historic open-air museum showcasing Viking heritage and Swedish farm life is only 15 minutes away.

Day trips are easy to arrange. In just 30 minutes by car, you can reach a vibrant town with shopping streets, nightlife, and cultural events. Nature lovers can explore nearby national parks, go fishing in crystal-clear lakes, or take part in guided wildlife safaris where moose and beavers are often spotted.

To make the most of your holiday at Campcation Camp, it’s good to know a few practical details. The campsite is open All year, with July and August being the busiest months. Booking early is highly recommended, especially if you want a pitch with lake views or one of the popular cabins.

Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. and Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Quiet hours are observed between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., ensuring a peaceful environment for all guests. Pets are welcome but should be kept on a leash, and designated dog-walking areas are provided.

The climate in this part of Sweden offers warm, sunny days in summer, while evenings can be cool – so pack layers and don’t forget swimwear as well as a light jacket. The on-site shop provides basic groceries, but for larger shopping trips the nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away.

Campfires are permitted only in designated areas, and firewood is available at the reception. For those arriving without a car, public transport connections are available from the nearest town, and transfers can be arranged on request.
