Camper's Camp

We are cousins who inherited a large chunk of land in the mountain above Kotor Bay. Our village is very beautiful and even more important for Montenegrin path to freedom.

People say that our land is the best in the village and it hasn't been used for a long, long time. We now don't know what is a final vision of our farm, but for sure it will be self sustainable, organic and regenerative farm.

We are starting this story as an auto and bicycle camp. Simple domestic food, a place to hike and have a bath in the nearby lake. Whole place is a DIY project in works and we are eager to see what will come out of it.

Grahovo Lake, hiking, cycling, and swimming.

Grahovac is the site of the famous Battle of Grahovac (1858), a pivotal victory for Montenegro against Ottoman forces.

Church of the Ascension (Crkva Svetog Spasa): Built in 1864 by Prince-Bishop Nikola I, this church stands on the exact spot where Ottoman commander Hussein Pasha's tent was located during the battle. It features a memorial plaque honoring fallen fighters.

Grahovac Obelisk: Unveiled in 2008 to mark the 150th anniversary of the battle, this white stone monument is located near the highway and honors all who perished in the conflict.

Grahovo Memorial Park: Situated on Umac Hill in the nearby town of Grahovo, this park features a 7-meter-tall bronze sculpture of national hero Sava Kovačević leading a column of soldiers. The complex includes 272 concrete cubes inscribed with the names of local soldiers killed in World War II.
