Camping Classe Village

Camping Classe Village is a family friendly holiday village in Lido di Dante on the Romagna Riviera, set inside the green Ramazzotti pine forest that separates it from the public beach. The sandy beach is only 200 to 300 metres away along a path through the pines, and the site is open from spring until early autumn. With more than 300 pitches and around 200 mobile homes and chalets, there is plenty of space, and many pitches are nicely shaded by the trees.

You can rent a mobile home for two to six people, including a barrier free model, or one of the wooden chalets that sleep four to seven. Every rental has a kitchen, a shower room, a veranda with table and chairs and a parking space right next to it. If you bring your own tent, caravan or camper, the pitches measure 60 to 100 square metres and have electricity points, with a camper service area on site.

There are two large pools, a 25 by 20 metre pool and a children's pool with water games, both watched by a lifeguard. Sports lovers will find a multipurpose court for five a side football, basketball and tennis, a beach volleyball and beach tennis court, a bowling alley and table tennis. From June to early September the entertainment team runs games, aqua aerobics, group dances and evening shows, and children from four can join the mini club. Restaurant Il Fratino serves Romagna and seafood dishes, Brazilian churrasco and wood fired pizza, while Ristobar Oasis near the beach path is perfect for a drink or a light lunch. The market sells fresh bread, fruit and local produce, and you can also hire city bikes, mountain bikes or e-bikes. Free WiFi covers the whole campsite.

The campsite borders the Foce del Bevano nature reserve, a natural oasis at the mouth of the Bevano river where the protected Kentish plover lives. Lido di Dante itself is a small, relaxed seaside village with a few bars, restaurants and shops, a short promenade and a local market twice a week.

The historic city of Ravenna, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, is about 8 km away, and the Mirabilandia amusement park is at a similar distance. Dogs are welcome at two beach establishments about 200 metres from the campsite.

Mobile homes and chalets are ready from 14:00 on arrival day and must be vacated by 09:00 on departure day. Pitches can be accessed between 07:30 and 13:00 and between 15:00 and 23:00, and check out is by noon. Quiet hours apply from 13:00 to 15:00 and from 23:00 to 07:30, when no vehicles may drive inside the campsite.

For rentals, a final cleaning fee of 40 euros applies and a deposit of 50 euros is paid in cash on arrival and returned on departure. Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented on site. Pets are welcome for a fee. A tourist tax of 0.60 euros per person per night is charged from age 14, for a maximum of 5 nights. Part of the campsite is a separate naturist area, which is only accessible with a valid naturist card.
