Camping de la Gères

Located in Surgères, in the heart of the Charente-Maritime region, Camping de la Gères welcomes you to a calm, green setting on the banks of the peaceful River Gères. The campsite offers around sixty spacious, flat, well-shaded pitches, suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. You'll also find rental accommodation such as fully-equipped mobile homes and canvas bungalows for an even more comfortable stay.

The sanitary facilities are modern, clean and well-maintained, with hot showers, toilets, a baby area and disabled access. There's an emptying area for motorhomes and a laundry room with washing machine.

Children can relax in theplay area, while older children can enjoy a game of pétanque or relax by the heated swimming pool. A barbecue area, Wi-Fi connection and bread deposit service complete the range of services on offer to ensure you have a pleasant, carefree stay.

Camping de la Gères is open from the beginning of April to the end of September and offers a personalised welcome to meet all your expectations. We strongly advise you to book in advance, especially in high season, as the campsite is popular with families, cyclists and lovers of the region.

Arrivals are generally from 3pm and departures before 11am for rental accommodation. Pets are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead, and special services are available for camper vans.

The campsite accepts various means of payment (credit cards, cash, holiday vouchers) and provides tourist information on the region at reception.
