Camping Eden Park

Camping Eden Park is a small, rustic family campsite right on the shore of Lake Trasimeno, inside the Trasimeno nature park in Umbria. It was founded in 1979 by Prisco and Anna and is now run by the third generation of the family. The site covers about 5000 m² under a thick canopy of pine trees, with large pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, each with its own electricity connection. On site you will find a bar with a large terrace, TV, table football and video games, a minimarket and a restaurant. The grassy lakeside beach has sunshades and barbecues for guests, and the sunsets over the lake are a highlight of every stay. Facilities include toilets, indoor showers with free hot water, dish and laundry sinks, washing machines, a camper service and free Wi Fi. E bikes and canoes can be rented on site.

Shops, a supermarket, pharmacies, banks, a post office and restaurants are all within 1 km. The cycle path around Lake Trasimeno passes the campsite, so you can explore the lake by bike straight from your pitch. Passignano sul Trasimeno is about 10 minutes away by car and Castiglione del Lago about 25 minutes. Perugia, the capital of Umbria, is around 20 minutes away and Assisi about 40 minutes, making the campsite a good base for visiting central Italy.

The campsite is open all year. Check in is between 08:00 and 21:00 and check out is by 12:00. Pets are welcome free of charge in line with Italian law and the campsite rules, and dogs must be kept on a lead. Cars are parked in the campsite car park and not on the pitches. Hot water in the showers is free, and washing machines work with tokens.
