Description

Welcome to Les Truffières de Dordogne, a prestigious 5-star campsite by Eden Villages nestled in the heart of Périgord Noir — one of the most culturally rich and scenic areas of southwest France. Set across 9 hectares of wooded, hilly parkland in the village of Saint-Geniès, this family-friendly campsite sits perfectly between Sarlat-la-Canéda (15 km) and the legendary Lascaux caves at Montignac (12 km).

The campsite’s crown jewel is its 700 m² heated water park, featuring an indoor heated pool (200 m²), an outdoor heated pool, two water slides, a 50-metre river with buoys, and dedicated paddling pools for toddlers — both indoor and outdoor. Outdoor pools are heated from 29 May for ecological reasons.

Nature lovers will adore the private fishing pond, stocked with carp, surrounded by forest — a true haven of tranquillity in the heart of the estate. The Sahari lodge tents overlook this serene setting for a unique glamping experience.

The wellness area offers an exclusive private spa with jacuzzi, sauna, and tea area, reservable for up to 4 guests at a time. Professional beauty treatments and massages are available by appointment with qualified beauticians.

Sport and entertainment are plentiful: an 80 m² giant inflatable trampoline, multisport field, fitness room, tennis court, beach volleyball, boulodrome, mini-golf, table tennis, and a games room with pinball and arcade machines. Children aged 4–12 enjoy the Eden Kids Club (free, Mon–Fri in season), while teenagers (13–17) have their own Club Ados. In July–August, daily activities include archery, paintball, sports olympics, nature walks, and board games. Evenings come alive with live concerts, circus shows, dancing, and pool parties.

Dining is a highlight: the on-site restaurant serves traditional Périgord cuisine — truffles, foie gras, duck breast, confits — alongside brasserie classics (pizzas, burgers, pasta) in a stone-walled dining room or on the pool-view terrace. A snack bar offers takeaway, and breakfast service is available. The bar serves cocktails and local beers all day.

The 203 pitches host a diverse range of accommodation: mobile homes (Access, Confort, and Privilège ranges), wooden chalets, eco-lodge Sahari tents, and traditional camping pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Green Key certified, the campsite also features electric car charging stations and a motorhome service point.
