Camping Fristad

Welcome to Camping Fristad! Here you live in a tent, caravan, motorhome or why not a roof tent. Stay 1 night or 3 weeks, with us you are always welcome. A reserved place is for up to four adults or a total of six people. You can't decide the place in advance but you can request to stand next to each other.

We have a number of pitches with electricity, but a larger number without electricity, the campsite for the "back to basic" enthusiast i.e. the simplicity of living with less. To offer modern conveniences, there is a refrigerator in the public kitchen at the reception. You can also charge your phone in the reception building, do this preferably during the day as much as possible, then we use the solar energy!

Camping Fristad is located in the middle of our beautiful Värmland, rich in its tens of thousands of lakes. More than half of the landscape is forested, providing plenty of opportunities for activity. You can mountain bike for hours, walk miles on hiking trails and visit countless beautiful lakes. All types of rentals and routes can be found at reception.

We want to keep the campsite as car-free as possible, after settling into your pitch we like you to park your car in the designated parking lot. In the parking lot there are some carts to transport things or children to your site. We are open from May to September! Welcome to the site!
