Camping La Tabla de la Yedra

Located in the heart of Ciudad Real, Camping La Tabla de la Yedra is the perfect destination for those looking for a nature experience in Castilla-La Mancha. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape of rivers and hills, this campsite stretches along the Bullaque river and is surrounded by native vegetation, such as willows, ash and poplar trees, creating a peaceful and fresh atmosphere. The campsite's facilities are spacious and designed for the comfort of the whole family. There are pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as a hostel for those looking for a more traditional accommodation option.

The campsite has a refreshing swimming pool for summer days, a children's play area and a kids' club offering special activities for the little ones. In addition, for the adventurous, the campsite organises kayaking and paddleboarding on the river, bike hire to explore the surroundings and even archery and climbing sessions on its own wall. For those who prefer the comfort of a good meal after a day full of activities, the campsite's restaurant offers home cooking and has a terrace where you can enjoy dinner in the open air.

In the area surrounding La Tabla de la Yedra there is a wide variety of activities to suit all tastes. Just five kilometres away is the famous route to Miraflores Castle, a 9th century Islamic fortress that offers a breathtaking view of the fields of Castilla-La Mancha. This route is perfect for hiking, enjoying the scenery and the local wildlife, which includes wild boar, deer and birds such as kingfishers and oropendolas.

The nearby Cabañeros National Park offers additional hiking routes leading to waterfalls and dense forests, while the Brezoso Water Mill, an hour's drive away, offers a unique experience of rural life. For a more relaxed getaway, the picturesque village of Piedrabuena, just an hour's walk away, has tapas bars, bakeries and artisan cheese shops where you can sample local flavours.

For a more comfortable visit, early booking is recommended, especially in the summer months. Pets are welcome on the campsite, as long as they are kept under control. The weather in Ciudad Real can be hot during the day and cool at night, so it is advisable to bring suitable clothing for both temperatures. In addition, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes and some insect repellent are recommended to fully enjoy the outdoor activities.<br>
