Camping Le Soustran is a charming, nature‑focused campsite set right beside the peaceful shores of Lac de la Triouzoune (also called Lake Neuvic) in the lush Corrèze region of south‑central France. Its idyllic location in rolling, wooded hills near the Plateau de Millevaches gives this site a true feel of countryside serenity — yet it still offers excellent modern facilities and services that make it ideal for family camping, motorhome pitches, and relaxed holiday stays alike.
The site covers approximately 2 hectares of landscaped terrain and offers 37 spacious camping pitches ranging from roughly 80 m² up to 300 m² — perfect for tents, caravans, and smaller campervans. Each pitch includes access to electricity (10 A), and 6 pitches are designed for easy access for guests with reduced mobility.
For those who prefer ready‑to‑stay accommodation, the campsite also features mobile homes (one 4‑person and five 6‑person units) with fully equipped kitchens, private toilets and showers, and inviting outdoor seating. There’s even a tiny house with a private sauna just 600 m from the main campsite — perfect for couples seeking a unique, intimate glamping experience.
The facilities strike a lovely balance between authentic outdoor camping and comfort. Guests can enjoy:
Fresh bread delivery is available every morning — a delicious way to start your day beside the lake. Nature lovers will appreciate the peaceful, family‑friendly atmosphere, while adventurous visitors will love the opportunities for campfires, kayaking rentals, and outdoor play.

The setting of Camping Le Soustran is a gateway to natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Just a short walk (5‑10 minutes) through forest paths, you’ll reach Lac de la Triouzoune’s serene shoreline — perfect for swimming, fishing, paddleboarding, or a laid‑back lakeside picnic.
For those craving a sandy beach vibe, two sandy beaches lie about 4 km from the campsite, offering gentle swimming spots and space for sun lounging and beach games. The lake itself divides into zones — an active section where motorboats and water sports are allowed, and a quiet, nature‑only side where peace and wildlife prevail.
Adventure seekers will find hiking, cycling, and mountain biking trails that begin right at the campsite edge — including a 7 km circular trail and a 14 km cycle path through forests, meadows, and lakeside landscapes. This region is also known for golf, horseback riding, tennis, and more in nearby Neuvic and beyond, making it perfect for active holidays.
Beyond outdoor sports, the broader Haute‑Corrèze area is rich in heritage. Visitors can explore idyllic medieval villages, historic churches, local markets, honey and cheese farms, and scenic overlooks stretching toward the Gorges de la Dordogne — a spectacular natural canyon just minutes away by car.
Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, shops, banks, and pharmacies are located about 4 km away in Neuvic village, perfect for stocking up on provisions or sampling local cuisine.
Plan your visit between mid‑May and late September to enjoy the best weather and full range of services. Book early — especially in summer — to secure prime pitches, mobile homes, or tiny houses, as this gem fills up quickly.
Motorhomes and vans are welcome, but check height and weight limits before traveling to ensure your vehicle fits comfortably. If you’re bringing pets, confirm details ahead of time to prepare for a smooth stay.
On‑site amenities like fresh bread service, laundry facilities, dining options, and Wi‑Fi make daily life easy, while the local village atmosphere a short drive or cycle away offers restaurants, bakeries, shops, and practical services.
Whether you’re planning a family adventure, a couple’s escape, or a peaceful nature break, Camping Le Soustran invites you to relax, explore, and create unforgettable holiday memories.
