Camping Les Oiseaux

A friendly four star family campsite in the heart of the Baie de Somme, just outside Rue and five minutes from Le Crotoy, with a heated indoor pool, a fishing pond and plenty for children.

Camping Les Oiseaux is a calm, green campsite run by the Gouesbier family on the edge of Rue. It has a warm, relaxed atmosphere where many guests come back year after year, and it is a lovely base for exploring one of the most beautiful bays in Europe.

The heated indoor pool is open from May to September. On sunny days the roof can be opened, and in high season there are evening swims and aqua gym sessions. Children can play on the wooden playground, the bouncy castle and the multisport court, and they will love saying hello to the campsite horses. Adults can enjoy pétanque, table tennis, billiards or a quiet afternoon by the fishing pond. In summer the events hall with its bar hosts dance nights, theme dinners and shows.

You can rent classic or electric bikes at reception, and Wi-Fi covers the whole site. Guests also have access to the facilities of the two sister campsites, La Haie Penée and La Garenne de Moncourt, about ten minutes away.

The centre of Rue is two minutes by car and the harbour town of Le Crotoy only five. The sandy beaches of Quend Plage les Pins and Fort Mahon Plage are around seven minutes away. The Baie de Somme is perfect for cycling, walking and birdwatching, with seals, salt meadows and wide open skies right on your doorstep.

Check-in is from 14:00 to 18:00 and check-out is before 10:30.

The heated indoor pool is open from May to September; swim shorts are not allowed in the pool. Showers work with tokens (0.50 EUR) and a washing machine is available (3 EUR). Wi-Fi covers the whole site (paid). Barbecues are allowed and there is also a shared barbecue area. A motorhome service area is available, bikes and e-bikes can be hired at reception, and gas bottles are sold on site.
