Those interested in a day trip can visit the city of Bremen, which is only a half-hour drive away. Here you can discover historical sights such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bremen Town Hall and the famous Roland statue. The picturesque artists’ village of Worpswede is also only a 40-minute drive away and offers galleries, museums, and charming shops.

For families, attractions such as Magic Park Verden (30 minutes away) or Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen (50 minutes away) make excellent excursion destinations.
