Description

Camping Peros is a charming small family-run campsite nestled in the picturesque coastal village of Zaton, just a short drive from Nin and around 15 km from Zadar’s historic centre. This peaceful retreat spans roughly 2 hectares of beautifully shaded Mediterranean grounds, offering only 60 campsites (pitches) — each one generous in size (typically 80 – 120 m²) and equipped with essential utilities such as fresh water, electricity (16 A), and safe drainage connections.

At Camping Peros, you’ll immediately feel the difference: a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes it an ideal choice whether you’re a solo traveller, family, or couple seeking tranquillity by the Adriatic. The pitches are set under a canopy of pine and leafy trees, providing welcome shade in the warm summer months — perfect for tents, caravans, campers, and motorhomes.

One of the site’s standout features is its on-site swimming facilities. Here you’ll find a large outdoor pool (≈300 m²) and a shallow toddler pool — a perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach or exploring the region.

For food and drinks, guests can enjoy the campsite’s Bar, Pizzeria, and Grill area serving simple yet satisfying meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages — all within easy reach of your pitch.

Other conveniences include clean shared bathrooms with hot showers, chemical disposal and grey water services, free Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities. Motorhomes are very welcome here, and special provisions like grey water discharge points ensure a smooth stay for travellers on wheels.

Whether you’re pitching a tent or camping in a motorhome, Camping Peros offers a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and access to the stunning Dalmatian coastline — all wrapped in a welcoming, family atmosphere.
