Innere Saastalstrasse 216

Camping Schönblick is a tranquil, sun-kissed campsite tucked between Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell, beside a gentle stream and nestled on a rolling grassy meadow. The terrain is dotted with trees, offering both shade and open spaces, all framed by spectacular views of the Mischabel mountain range. It’s a place where nature really feels untouched and serene.
Open 1st November - 11th April, 1st June -11 October, the site balances rustic charm and essential comforts. You’ll find modern sanitary buildings with warm showers, a relaxing wellness area featuring a whirlpool, a steam-experience shower, and an outdoor Jacuzzi. Laundry is made easy with a washing machine and dryer, and ironing facilities are available on request.
Each morning, campers can order fresh bread delivered from a nearby bakery. For fun, there’s a children’s playground (including a small pool), a communal Tipi tent to socialize in, and a wood grill to fire up for evening meals. A unique Kneipp hydrotherapy area adds a refreshing wellness touch. The campsite can also supply propane and butane gas for campers. Outdoorsy guests will love starting hikes right from the site, or, in the winter months, using it as a base for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country trips, or snowshoeing. Convenient local buses connect the campsite with the rest of the Saas Valley.

Camping Schönblick is perfectly located for exploring the dramatic landscapes of the Saas Valley. Just a short walk takes you into Saas-Grund, a charming alpine village where you can catch buses or lifts to the high mountain resorts.
In summer, the area brims with hiking opportunities: you can trek along alpine trails, explore mountain passes, or take scenic walks with views of glaciers and craggy peaks. The Mischabel range, visible from the campsite, offers a breathtaking backdrop. For families, nearby you’ll find the Kreuzboden cable car, which ferries guests up to family attractions like an adventure playground, a bike-skill park, and more.
In winter, the options multiply: downhill skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing are all accessible from or near the camp. The Saas Valley also has winterlift connections and well-maintained trails for snow adventures.
When you want to rest your legs, the campsite itself offers a relaxing place by the stream or in its own Kneipp hydrotherapy area. After activity, you can unwind under the trees or gather in the Tipi tent for a cozy evening under the stars.
