Camping Vega de Francia

Located 420 metres above sea level, in the enchanting Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, Camping Vega de Francia is the ideal refuge for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and connect with nature. To cool off, the campsite offers access to the Playa de Sotoserrano, a natural swimming pool on the Alagón river located just a few minutes' walk away. You will also find a beach bar with an open-air terrace overlooking the river, where you can enjoy a drink or try local specialities from the region, in a peaceful atmosphere.

Located in the heart of the Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, the campsite offers direct access to hiking and cycling routes, including the Camino de La Vega and the Ruta Circular de los Tres Ríos, ideal for discovering the biodiversity and natural beauty of the surroundings. For nature lovers, the nearby Meandro del Melero (just a 20-minute drive away) is a must-see: a spectacular bend in the Alagón River surrounded by greenery offering breathtaking views.

In the surrounding area, you can also explore the medieval village of Sotoserrano (5 minutes from the campsite), with its cobbled streets and traditional architecture, and cross its historic Roman bridge over the river. Other charming villages such as La Alberca (20 minutes) and Sequeros (half an hour) offer picturesque squares with bars and cafes, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
