Campingplatz Schloss Kirchberg stretches across roughly 7.5–8 hectares (≈ 75,000–78,000 m²), hosting 333 pitches — of which about 120 are for tourist campers, with the remainder for permanent campers. The terrain is partly terraced, shaded by mature deciduous trees, giving the site a pleasant, leafy ambience and restful privacy.

Right on the northern shore of Lake Constance, the campsite features its own beach area with a large sun-bathing lawn, offering direct access to the lake for swimming or lounging. For families and active guests there are amenities such as a children’s playground, volleyball court, table-tennis at the beach, and a dog-friendly beach section.

Sanitary facilities are provided in two buildings, including warm-water showers, individually-locked wash cubicles, toilets, and disabled-accessible bathrooms (with Euro-Key access). Additional conveniences: drinking-water taps across the site; facilities for motorhomes including fresh water supply and wastewater disposal; WiFi available throughout; gas bottle supply; and, from 2025, new planned features like a dishwasher, dog shower, and a family-friendly washroom in Sanitary Unit 1.

Also on-site: a restaurant with beer-garden, bread-roll (Brötchen) service, and gas-supply — useful for self-caterers.

Thanks to the campsite’s location between the villages of Hagnau and Immenstaad, you have easy access to local life: Hagnau is about a 15-minute walk away. Immenstaad — just a few kilometers by bike or car — offers supermarkets and daily-life conveniences.

Because the campsite lies directly on the major Lake Constance cycle path (≈ 280 km route around the lake), it’s an ideal starting point for cycle tours — for example to the town of Friedrichshafen, roughly 13 km away.

On the lake itself: you can enjoy swimming, sailing, stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), canoeing or simply relaxing by the water — all with easy access from the site. For a different perspective: boat trips on Lake Constance or a stroll along the lakeside villages bring you closer to regional culture, wine villages, and the beautiful lakeside vibe.

Nearby towns such as Meersburg or Konstanz are just a few kilometers away — within reach for a day trip. This makes Schloss Kirchberg a perfect base when you want both lake-side tranquility and the chance to explore charming historic towns around the lake.

• The site provides dog-friendly facilities, including a dedicated dog beach and — starting 2025 — a dog shower at Sanitary Building 1. Pets must follow the site’s dog rules (e.g. leash, waste disposal, beach restrictions).
• If you arrive with a motorhome, the campsite offers full service: fresh water supply, waste water disposal, and marked motorhome pitches.
