Most overnight stops on the coast are a numbered space on gravel. This is a working organic farm that opens just a few private pitches at a time — so you arrive as a guest, not a number.

Mornings mean coffee under the trees and, if you like, a box of organic vegetables picked that afternoon or fresh eggs for breakfast. Quiet enough to sleep deeply, unhurried enough to lose track of the day. Guests keep mentioning the sunsets and the clean shower — we're rated 4.5. 🌇

A short drive from some of Portugal's best surf, with fibre fast enough to actually work, and a gentle, safe setting for families — sheep, donkeys and chickens to meet, a playground, and books to borrow.

Since 2015 the Caria family has farmed here organically, and since 2018 we've been planting agroforestry ecosystems — growing food the healthy, sustainable way.

Your stay is a small window into that life, among medicinal herbs, fruit trees and veggie gardens.

The farm is still becoming itself — a few more trees go in every year. That's how regeneration works.

Located just a short distance from the Portuguese west coast, Caria’s Organic Farm offers convenient access to both nature and culture. Within walking distance, you’ll find supermarkets, a fuel station, and the local bank, all around 1 km away. The nearest beach is only 5 km from the farm, making it perfect for day trips to the sea.

For food and drink, there are several restaurants within 1.5 km, offering local cuisine. A pharmacy is also just 2 km away, and a campervan dump site is 3 km from the farm. Whether you’re into coastal walks, cultural sightseeing, or simply enjoying the slow life, the surrounding area is full of charm.

Caria’s Organic Farm is a quiet, self-guided destination best suited for travelers who value nature, privacy, and sustainability. There is no traditional reception, but your host is always happy to assist if needed. Guided tours of the farm should be booked in advance.

Please note that while the facilities are simple, the setting is rich in experience. Be sure to bring your essentials and a good appetite for local organic produce. Dogs may be allowed – contact in advance to confirm. Early booking is recommended, especially in the summer months.

This is more than a stay – it’s a connection to the land.

A few simple things keep this place what it is: one van per pitch, no open fires (it's a farm), and an eye on little ones near the animals. Message us before you arrive — we keep welcomes personal and like to be here when you roll in.
