Charlottsborgs Camping & Vandrarhem

Charlottsborgs Camping & Vandrarhem is located in a beautiful park area that you will find only 3 km (10 min) from the city of Kristianstad. The campsite has direct bus connections to the city and can thus offer both shopping and beautiful nature just around the corner. Here you will find something for the whole family in a quiet and peaceful environment.

The campsite has around 40 pitches for caravans and motorhomes.

In the yellow wooden building you will find the service building where you will find laundry and shower rooms as well as washing up areas. Right next door, you will find the red cottage that forms the other part of the service building. Here you will find toilets, laundry room, cooking area and a drain for waste water.

As mentioned above, the centre is a 10-minute bus ride from Kristianstad. Kristianstad was founded in the 17th century by Christian IV and has always been one of the hubs for all kinds of trade. In the city of Kristianstad you will find more than 200 shops and various companies. Here you will experience a wonderful atmosphere with a naturally beautiful city centre where cultural impulses meet charming small streets and town squares. Sit down at one of the city's many restaurants and cafés and enjoy a relaxing coffee or dinner and lunch.

Around Kristianstad you can find nice roads to cycle on, or why not take a walking tour and discover the local area. Large parts of Kristianstad are best experienced by bike. There are several tours you can take to discover the areas around the beautiful city. The Kristianstad tour is a lovely and urban tour where you get to experience a lot of nature. You follow Helge and Hammarsjön out to Ekenabben, which is a perfect place for a break before it is time to cycle back towards the city centre. The tour in question is about 9 km long and perfect for a cosy day trip in the city.

If you want to take a little detour in the tour, you will also find Naturum Vattenriket. You'll find the Vattenriket visitor centre right in the centre of Kristianstad. Here you can explore a fantastic exhibition. Either with a guide or all by yourself. Try looking for marlins in the stream next door, look at the fish in the fine aquarium or watch animals through the large and wide panoramic windows.

Kristianstad and nearby Åhus also offer several hiking areas to explore during your stay. Among other things, you will find Skåneleden here. Hike in the city, on the coast or in the forest. You'll find it all here!

Don't miss a visit to the old 13th century castle Bäckaskog Castle where you can enjoy cultural history and beautiful surroundings.
