Welcome to Christian Holidays Czechia, formerly known as Camping Fontana - an atmospheric campsite in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands by the beautiful Lake Hladovy. This campsite is currently being revived by the team of St Christian Marketing, with the aim of turning it into a small-scale wellness resort with a focus on families, tranquillity, nature and faith.

The campsite has spacious pitches in a wooded area, right on a crystal-clear lake of more than 2 hectares. The water is clean, safe and constantly refreshed by four upper springs. The sandy beaches along the lake make it perfect for families with children who want to swim, build sandcastles or just enjoy the sun.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with water slide, a large sports meadow, a cosy canteen, modern sanitary facilities and even a library where books and magazines can be borrowed free of charge. There are plenty of opportunities for anglers at the lake and sports activities such as football, volleyball and water polo are organised regularly. Bread rolls and small groceries are available at the campsite and the bistro offers simple and affordable food.

Special accommodation options are also in the pipeline, including Christian-style accommodation. Animation teams and children's work make this a fine destination for the whole family - with a unique, warm and engaging atmosphere.

The location of the campsite in Počátky, on the border of South Bohemia and the Moravian Plateau, is a true paradise for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The surrounding hills and forests are ideal for hiking, cycling, horse riding or climbing, and the silence and beauty of the landscape make every trip unforgettable.

About a 45-minute drive away is Javořice, at 837 metres the highest point in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands - a must for hikers and lovers of viewpoints. In the nearby town of Počátky (10-minute drive), you can visit the municipal museum and discover the rich history of the region.

Lovers of culture and literature can hike the Otokar Březina trail, a 55-kilometre route that passes historical towns such as Telč, Nová Říše and Jaroměřice. Larger cities such as Prague (2 hours and 40 minutes) and Vienna (1 hour and 45 minutes) can also be reached from the campsite for a day trip.

Booking in high season is strongly recommended, especially due to the high demand for pitches and the growing popularity of this unique destination. Pets are welcome, provided they are leashed and well cared for. Bread service is available: fresh bread can be ordered daily from reception.
