At Daftö Resort, 5 kilometres south of Strömstad, you can smell the distinct scent of seaweed, salt and adventure.

Here you can stay in one of the 130 cottages, check in at the Pirate Hotel, dock your boat in the guest harbour or stay in your own caravan/mobile home or tent, all year round. Choose a sea view or proximity to Daftöland amusement park. All camping pitches for caravans/motorhomes have electric sockets, TV sockets and water and sewerage connections. Hot water is always included and free Wifi. The cabins are available in varying sizes and standards, ranging from small simple 2-bed cabins to well-equipped and exclusive 8-bed cabins with shower, toilet and dishwasher.

Lots to do for both young and old. During the summer, the Daftöpiraterna take adventurous travellers on crazy adventures at the resort, in the archipelago or on Daftöland. Daftöland is an amusement park with attractions, games and park pirates. Don't miss the trip to Treasure Island with the pirates, or the Daftö Battle challenge for the whole family.

Daftö Resort's location on the west coast makes it an ideal base for exploring Bohuslän. Just a short drive from the resort is Strömstad, a charming seaside town with a wealth of shops, restaurants and cafés. Stroll along the harbour and enjoy fresh seafood or experience the town's maritime atmosphere.

If you want to discover more of Bohuslän, we recommend a boat trip to the Koster Islands, one of Sweden's sunniest spots. If you're lucky, you might spot the odd harbour seal in the Kosterhavet National Park on your way there. Go ashore at Ursholmen and hike up to Sweden's westernmost lighthouse for a panoramic view with a glimpse of Norway on the horizon. Learn about the history of the lighthouse keepers who lived there in the past or experience real shrimp fishing during an archipelago tour at sea.

Other popular destinations include the Tjurpannan and Saltö nature reserves, where you can hike among granite cliffs and enjoy outstanding views. For history buffs, a trip to Vitlycke Museum with its World Heritage-protected rock carvings is recommended.

Daftö is an accommodation complex with cabins, camping pitches, shops, restaurants and much more. And of course we have the Daftöland amusement park as a neighbour. The accommodation price includes a wide range of activities during school holidays and on weekends before and after.

There are several different service buildings with toilets, showers, laundry, kitchen and dishwashing facilities. Everything to make your stay as smooth and comfortable as possible.

The campsite is pet-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend on holiday. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the site, and the reception is happy to help with tips on excursions and activities. If you want to rent a bike or kayak, or book a boat trip to Koster, it is possible to do this directly on site.

For those who want to experience extra adventure with the family, many activities are included in the accommodation price, including access to Daftöland amusement park. Please note that some activities, such as the bridge sauna and wellness centre, need to be pre-booked.
