Ecolodges en Provence is a magical, nature-focused retreat tucked away on a lush two-thousand-square-meter plot in the green hills of Provence. The site comprises three beautifully crafted ecolodges: a classic yurt woven from wood and fabric, and two cabins constructed from dry stone and wood — all crowned with a yurt-style roof that opens to the sky, bathing the interiors in natural light.
Each ecolodge boasts its own private jacuzzi, with soothing massage jets and mood lighting, creating a blissful space for relaxation. Inside, you'll find a cozy fireplace or wood-burning stove, perfect for chilly evenings. A summer kitchen invites gentle cooking in the open air, while a dedicated machine handles freshly ground coffee, hot water for teas and herbal infusions. The bathroom facilities are thoughtfully designed with a shower and dry toilet.
Beyond the lodges, the property offers an above-ground swimming pool, shared but large enough for all guests, along with plentiful parking and individual entrances for each accommodation. For downtime, there’s a selection of board games (chess, cards, dice), as well as a private terrace and garden to unwind beneath the Provençal sky. Wi-Fi is available, adding a touch of connectivity when needed.
The retreat is run by Béatrice and Pierre, two passionate hosts committed to holistic and eco-conscious living. Béatrice brings expertise in naturopathy, offering wellness treatments such as Ayurvedic massage, Chi Nei Tsang, Kobido, and more. Pierre specializes in energy healing, using crystal therapy and sound healing, and even offers workshops for guests who want to dive deeper into spiritual and energetic practices.
This is a place built for quiet luxury and reconnection — whether you're spending a romantic weekend in nature or gathering with close friends or family for a serene getaway. It feels both intimate and completely removed from ordinary life.

The ecolodges are located in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a charming Provençal town known for its medieval basilica dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Wandering around the town, you'll find shaded piazzas, cafés under plane trees, and shops that offer a real taste of southern French life.
Nature lovers will delight in exploring the nearby Sainte-Baume natural regional park, where forested trails, limestone cliffs, and quiet viewpoints invite reflection and exploration. For a more cultured escape, the celebrated city of Aix-en-Provence is within reach, offering its fountains, historic architecture, and famous markets.
If the sea calls, you’re also well positioned for day-trips to the coast — gorgeous Mediterranean beaches, the rugged cliffs of the Calanques, and the islands off the coast of Provence all lie within a reasonable drive. Back in Saint-Maximin, you can experience the lively local Wednesday market, sample regional produce, and dine in cozy local restaurants. It’s the perfect base from which to explore both nature and Provençal culture.
First, know that although the address feels remote (3052 Chemin du Moulin), the ecolodge is very accessible by car, with a motorway exit nearby. The best way to arrive is by car, but it's also reachable from regional train stations and airports with a bit of planning.
The ecolodge operates year-round, so you can enjoy warm summer nights in the yurt or cozy winter evenings by the fire. While it’s an intimate retreat, the whole site can be booked if you’re planning something special like a family reunion, wellness retreat, or seminar — giving you both privacy and shared space.
Wellness is truly part of the experience: you can book massages, energy-healing sessions, or guided workshops with the hosts, making your stay both restorative and enriching. The ecolodge embraces sustainable living: dry toilets, natural materials, and design in harmony with nature.
Bring along soft indoor shoes (especially for the dry toilets), a light sweater for fireside evenings, and perhaps a journal or star map to make the most of the open rooftop and peaceful surroundings. Pets may be welcomed, but only with prior approval, and there’s usually a small additional fee.
