The facility is open for hire when not in use by the parish, and from summer 2025 there are also 9 pitches for motorhomes and caravans to book. West Farm offers both short and long term stays, making it an excellent choice for both transients and holidaymakers looking to stay a little longer.

Basic facilities such as toilets, showers and a kitchen with seating for 20 people are available, and the surrounding area offers green spaces for play, rest and socialising. The site also hosts church services, waffle cafés and other gatherings during the summer - an opportunity to combine camping with local cultural life and community.

Västragård is located in one of Småland's beautiful and coastal nature areas, just north of Fårbo. Just a stone's throw away is Lake Jämsen, perfect for swimming. For those interested in nature, there are several hiking trails nearby where you can discover the Småland landscape up close, including in the cultural reserve Stensjö by, 10 km south.

In Fårbo, about 5 minutes by car, you will find Fårbo rest area with a petrol station, a grocery store with a cash dispenser and a snack bar. If you want more action, it's not far to Oskarshamn, where there is shopping, culture and entertainment.
