There is a cosy log sauna on the banks of the Kangasjoki River, where you can take a traditional sauna and wash yourself in a cauldron with heated water. You can take a dip in the fresh Kangas River.

There are several campfire sites and a barbecue hut where you can cook on an open fire.

Finn Camping Kangasjoki combines closeness to nature and good transport connections right next to the Viitostie road. The area has a relaxed building style, several campfire sites and offers a suitable sense of community and privacy. A special feature of the area is the Kangasjoki river, which flows through it and on which there is a cosy wood-fired log sauna.

Suomussalmi is an area of great natural beauty, with many wilderness and water areas that offer excellent opportunities for boating, hiking, fishing and hunting. The area also has many sights and cultural attractions, such as the Raatteentie, the Silent People and Turjanlinna, which we recommend visiting.

The area serves tourists flexibly, according to the traveller's schedule. After booking online, you will receive arrival instructions and a code to pick up the key before 15:00 on the day of arrival.

Check-in is possible from 15:00 onwards and check-out must be done before 12:00 on the morning of departure.

The area is quiet from 23.00 to 06.00. During the quiet period, any extra movement in the area should be avoided.
