Flower Camping Côté Lac

Flower Camping Côté Lac is a friendly three star campsite in the village of Verruyes, in the green hills of the Gâtine in the Deux-Sèvres. It sits right by the Verruyes lake, a seven hectare stretch of water with a sandy beach, and the whole place has a relaxed, colourful and family feel.

You can stay on a spacious pitch with electricity, in a mobile home, in a wooden chalet or in a Ready to Camp tent that is set up and waiting for you.

On site there is a heated outdoor pool reserved for campers, a snack restaurant and bar with pizzas, burgers, salads and breakfast, and a wellness space with sauna, hammam and beauty treatments. Children can enjoy the playground, the inflatable pirate ship, the multisport court and the mini farm with goats, a sheep and hens, while teenagers have their own big tipi. There is a games room with a reading corner, board games, table football and billiards, a boules area and free WiFi.

The lake is just a short walk away and access is free for campers. In July and August swimming is supervised and free from 11:00, and you can rent pedal boats, paddle boards and canoes. Fishing is possible from March to November with a day ticket from the machine in the village centre. Around the water there is a picnic area, children's games and a boules area.

The village shops are about 600 m away. The Gâtine and the Thouet valley are great for walking and cycling, and the medieval town of Parthenay is close by. The Bluegreen golf course at Mazières en Gâtine is about ten minutes away. Further afield you can visit the Marais Poitevin, La Rochelle, the Futuroscope, around 50 minutes by car, and the Puy du Fou, around 1 hour 15 minutes.

Pitches are available from 14:00 and rentals from 15:00, with arrivals until 18:00. Late arrival is possible until 21:00 if you call the campsite in advance.

The heated pool is open from Ascension to mid September, from 09:30 to 19:30, and is for campers only.

Evening entertainment and activities for children and teenagers take place in July and August.

Dogs and cats are welcome on pitches and in rentals.

Bread and pastries can be ordered the day before. Bed linen, a baby kit and end of stay cleaning can be booked at the campsite.

Visitors are only allowed with the management's agreement.

A tourist tax of 0.40 euro per person aged 18 and over per night is not included in the price.

Payment by card, holiday vouchers (chèques vacances) and VACAF is accepted.
