Flower Camping La Chênaie

Flower Camping La Chênaie is a 3 star family campsite in Yport, a picturesque fishing village on the Alabaster Coast in Normandy, between Étretat and Fécamp. The 2.7 hectare site lies in a green haven on the edge of an oak forest, and most rentals enjoy its shade. Yport's pebble beach and village centre are only 800 m away. You can stay on a spacious pitch with your tent, caravan or motorhome, or choose a mobile home, a wooden chalet or a lodge on stilts.

The heated indoor pool is open every day from 10:00 to 19:00 during the season, with a paddling pool for little ones and sunbeds to relax on. The snack bar serves pizzas, salads, meats and snacks on its terrace or to take away, and bread and pastries can be ordered the day before. In summer the free kids' club welcomes children aged 5 to 12 on weekday mornings, and there are family activities and 3 to 4 evening events a week. There is also a multisport court, a boules area, playgrounds and a laundry with tumble dryer. The campsite is a member of Flower Campings and holds the Clef Verte and Qualité Tourisme labels.

Walk down to Yport with its small port, beach, shops and tourist office, where swimming is supervised in July and August and you can try canoeing, kayaking, surfing and bodyboarding. The Clos Lupin in Étretat, former home of Maurice Leblanc, is about 15 minutes away, and the famous Étretat cliffs are well worth a visit. Fécamp, with its fishing port, Benedictine Palace and Cap Fagnet viewpoint, is close by, and Le Havre, a UNESCO World Heritage city, makes a great day trip. Cliff paths, the Valleuse d'Antifer and the Boucles de la Seine Normande regional park are perfect for hiking.

Pitches are available from 14:00 and must be left by 12:00. Rentals are available from 16:00 and must be left by 10:00.

Reception is open from 08:00 to 19:00 in high season, and from 08:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:00 in low season.

One dog is allowed per pitch or rental, excluding category 1 and 2 dogs. Dogs must be on a lead, vaccinated and have a pet passport. The fee is paid on site.

Campers must bring their own electrical adapter.

Swimming shorts, T shirts and wetsuits are not allowed in the pool, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Towels, bed linen, baby kits, fridges and barbecues can be rented on site.

Free WiFi is available at reception and the snack bar.

Tourist tax is not included in the price and is paid on site.
