Getgårdens Café, cykel- och kanotuthyrning

Welcome to Getgårdens Café, a unique gem located in By Kyrby, Dalarna. Our charming café offers a special experience where you can enjoy your fika in the company of our friendly goats, all while enjoying a breathtaking view of Lake Bysjön. We take great pride in using locally produced organic ingredients and bake our treats directly on site in the house's old stone oven.

In addition to the café, we offer bike repairs and professional help for your bike. There is a wide range of (recycled) spare parts and all bikes are available for hire, with most also available for sale.

Up to ten beds are available for booking, allowing visitors to stay overnight and fully enjoy all that the area has to offer.

The area around Getgårdens Café in By Kyrby is rich in natural experiences and cultural treasures. Only two hours from Arlanda Airport, you will find a world of adventure and beauty. Explore Färnebofjärden National Park, where the Dalälven River connects the landscapes of Dalarna, Västmanland, Uppland, and Gästrikland in a unique environment.

Along the paths you can discover living farmhouses, beautiful sandy beaches, interesting museums and cultural buildings as well as charming cafés and craft stalls.

Activities such as riding Icelandic horses, playing tennis, fishing or walking along pram-friendly paths in the wetlands are just some of the experiences that await you. For the adventurous, a free cycling and canoeing map is available that will lead you to exciting destinations around Färnebofjärden and Bysjön.

Before your visit to Getgårdens Café, it is recommended that you pre-book your place, especially if you plan to stay overnight. Don't forget to pack suitable clothing for outdoor activities and possibly fishing or cycling equipment if you want to take part in the many activities offered in the area.
