Description

Nestled in the heart of the scenic Neues Fränkisches Seenland and the valley of the Schwäbische Rezat, Golfanlage Zollmühle offers travellers a serene and nature-rich base — whether you come for golf, a motorhome stopover, or a peaceful escape.

At the heart of the property lies a beautifully maintained 18-hole championship golf course (Par 72), whose fairways wind through gentle hills, mature tree lines, and the natural stream-coursed landscape of the Rezat valley. For those new to golf (or seeking a light round), there’s also a public 9-hole short course right beside the clubhouse — perfect to test your swing in relaxed style.

For driving practice and training, the estate offers a large driving range with 40 turf tees and 10 covered tees, plus several putting greens and chipping/pitching zones to refine your skills.

Apart from golf, Zollmühle welcomes motorhome travelers: there are 16 generous pitches for motorhomes up to 10 m in length, each with electricity and fresh-water hookup — a thoughtful touch that makes this site ideal for travellers seeking comfort and convenience. Sanitary facilities, including toilets and showers are available in the clubhouse. For a meal or drink after your day’s adventure, the on-site restaurant and beer-garden (“Biergärtla”) serve home-made cuisine: local meats and breads, fresh cakes, pizzas and hearty snacks — all freshly prepared. A bread-roll (Brötchen) service or breakfast options are also offered for motorhome guests on request.

This blend of a top-quality golf facility, comfortable motorhome pitches and welcoming hospitality creates a rare opportunity: you can enjoy a full golf experience and still park your motorhome directly at the course under tranquil, natural surroundings.

Good to know

Before arriving, please note that advance registration at the reception is required: you will receive your parking authorisation there. When you arrive with a motorhome, keep in mind that while electricity and fresh-water hookups are provided, there is no on-site wastewater or grey-water disposal. For disposal needs, the nearest service stations are in nearby Pleinfeld or at the motorhome site on the bathing peninsula Absberg at the Kleine Brombachsee.

If you intend to play golf, you may want to reserve a tee time in advance — either by phone or online — to secure your preferred slot.

After your round or a day’s driving, the clubhouse and its restaurant offer a warm, laid-back atmosphere to unwind: enjoy local specialties, a refreshing drink in the beer garden, and perhaps a stroll on the sunny terrace.

Finally: animals (dogs) are generally welcome — but should be kept on a leash. The surrounding nature, gentle landscapes, and historic surroundings make this place ideal for families, couples, or solo travellers who want a peaceful, flexible stay with the freedom of their own motorhome and optional access to high-quality golf and local culture.
