Welcome to Gräsöbaden Family Campsite – an idyllic camping gem located in the Roslagen archipelago, just a short ferry ride from the charming town of Öregrund. Here you will find a summer oasis with the sea as your closest neighbour, perfect for those seeking relaxation, togetherness, and proximity to nature. The campsite offers approximately 400 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, or tents, many of which are equipped with electricity – some even with wooden decking and a lake view. The electrical outlets require an EU adaptor, which can easily be purchased at reception. Please note that there is a minimum age requirement of 25. Identification may be requested upon arrival.

The accommodation also includes five newly renovated 4-bed cabins and a cosy 2-bed cabin – all equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, basic kitchen utensils, duvets, pillows, and private terraces. All cabins are non-smoking, and two of them also welcome pets. For families and children there is plenty to do: mini golf, football, bicycle rental, children’s activities, and not least a child-friendly sandy beach just a stone’s throw away.

Would you like to unwind after the day’s activities? Treat yourself to a wood-fired sauna – on land or on the sauna raft – or gather friends and family in our hot tub with sea view. The restaurant Doppingen serves well-prepared food and offers a veranda where the sun sets on the horizon. Gräsö is a scenic island filled with experiences for the whole family. A short bike ride or ferry ride will take you to Öregrund, where charming cobbled streets, a guest harbour and summer evenings with live music await. Take the opportunity to stroll among shops, cafés and maybe catch a gig on classic Öregrund Monday at Fyrskeppet.

For those interested in nature, Gräsö offers a unique cultural environment and rich flora and fauna. Several hiking trails wind through the landscape, perfect for both families with children and more adventurous hikers. Do you like fishing? The coastal waters around Gräsö offer excellent opportunities to get a bite - fishing licences are available for purchase.

There's also a small mini-market on the campsite, perfect for simple purchases. For a larger selection, there are shops and services in Öregrund or Östhammar, which can be reached in about 30 minutes. You can also take the ferry to the mainland for further excursions in Roslagen.

Gräsöbaden Family Campsite is open during the summer season and is aimed at adults and families – please note that there is an age limit of 25 years for camping guests. Check-in is from 1 p.m. between 1/7–9/8, and from 3 p.m. on all other dates. The campsite has four service buildings – during the low season one or two are in operation.

All cabins have cold running water, and showers and a washing machine are available in a separate building. Dogs are warmly welcome, but must be kept on a lead and are not permitted on the bathing beach – however, there is a designated dog swimming area within the grounds.

For those arriving by boat there is a large guest jetty, and Doppingen also offers corporate lunches, birthday celebrations and other events. The restaurant is fully licensed and regularly organises troubadour evenings and dancing.
