Grums Fish n'Camp – Sävsjön

Family camping in the cultural countryside in southern Värmland. Grums Fish n´ Camp by Sävsjön is a quiet family campsite in scenic cultural countryside in southern Värmland. Come here to relax, hike in nature, swim, fish or make excursions by boat.

The campsite is located by the scenic Sävsjön lake in southern Värmland, about 12 km south of Grums, and has about 40 camping pitches, all with electricity. Some are especially suitable for motorhomes and others are good for tents.

For you as a guest, there are showers, toilets and washing-up facilities in the service buildings located in the centre of the area.

As a guest at Grums Fish n´ Camp you are close to swimming, excursions and food. The campsite is close to both the beach and jetties. The beach is suitable for both young and old. There is a playground for children. Boats and canoes are also available for hire in the vicinity of the beach.

The fishing waters in Sävsjön are really good and here you can fish for pike, perch and zander. You can buy a fishing licence online ifiske.se or with the ifiske app. If you don't have your own fishing gear, you can always hire it here too.

The kiosk has a selection of coffee, pastries, soft drinks, ice cream and other goodies. Breakfast bread can be pre-ordered.

If you want to explore the area and are keen on excursions, you have come to the right place. From Sävsjön you are close to most things. There are plenty of golf courses, shopping, restaurants, activities and attractions. In Borgvik, which is about 7 km from the campsite, you will find Kungskvarnen's restaurant and hotel, harbour café, craft shop, art gallery and antique shop. Several events are organised during the summer. Keep an eye out on their social media for what's going on when you're there.

Sävsjöleden, which runs around the whole of Sävsjön, is an 8.4 km long hiking trail and has two shelters with barbecue areas. A perfect excursion for those who want to experience the local area and become one with nature over a day trip.

The campsite is open from late April to early October. During the period between mid-June and mid-August, the reception is open daily. Wireless internet is available. Dogs are welcome.
