Guldvaskningen i Ädelfors - Camping

A warm welcome to Guldströms Camping! Come as you are. Come with the family or come with your loved one and experience the gold fever! At Guldströms Camping and Guldvaskningen in ädelfors, you can try to wash for gold while staying at the nice campsite or in one of the cottages at the facility.

The camping part is centrally located at the facility where you can both take care of your dishes and fill up with drinking water for your teams. The facility also has waste management with several containers where they have introduced source sorting for the sake of the environment. Of course, there is also latrine emptying (porta potti) and several fireplaces located under the roof if the weather should be of a worse nature. Even wood in normal doses is included in the fee when camping at Guldströms. For the children there are also swings and if you want to play in the water, a bath in Emån can always be an option.

The camping plots you will find here are both for caravans, motorhomes and tents. The facility houses about 50 plots in total with a size of about 100 sqm each. Come here and enjoy your stay or get active in the eventful neighborhood.

When you are installed and ready, we will return to the gold! Because what gilds your stay is, of course, that you can try gold panning in Emån's most beautiful valleys where there is plenty of naturally occurring and real gold. Here you are guided by some of Sweden's most experienced gold washers who show you the very best gravel banks to dig or rather wash gold in. Enjoy the nature and their assets in a wonderful environment.

When you feel done with the day's washing, you will also find a café and a lunch service where you can fill your empty stomachs. If you bring your own food, you can of course use one of our fireplaces and cook your own food. If you've got gold fever after your visit to Guldströms, don't miss their gold digging shop where they sell metal detectors, magnets and other gold digging equipment. Everything for both the beginner and the expert!

Guldströms Camping is beautifully located in Småland in the small community of Ädelfors. In Ädelfors, in addition to visiting the gold washing, you can make a mining visit to Sweden's first gold mine from 1737 which is located here.

There are also opportunities for swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking and cycling in the surrounding area.

Not far from the facility you will also find the cute town of Vimmerby where you can stroll around, eat at restaurants, cafes and much more. If you want to take a full day with the whole family, a visit to Astrid Lindgren's world is recommended. Here you can experience everything from Astrid Lindgren's entire fairy tale treasure. Everything from Ronja the Robber's Daughter to Emil in Lönneberga in one place!

Guldvaskningen and the café are open during the summer months while the campsites are open all year round. If you do not come by car, you can take the train from Jönköping to Vetlanda and then continue by bus all the way to Guldvaskningen and the campsite.

Almost the entire area is handicapped accessible, which means that everyone can come and enjoy the facility.
