Habo Camping & Stugby

Habo Camping & Stugby is a cozy family campsite with 65 places. Four-legged friends are also welcome here. The campsite is beautifully located between Bankeryd and Habo on Lake Vättern, 15 kilometers north of Jönköping. There are sites suitable for motorhomes as well as regular campsites for caravans and even tents. The camping plots vary in size up to 100 square meters.

Habo Camping & Stugby is a state-of-the-art campsite with new and fresh facilities. In the Service House you will find a handicapped accessible bathroom and kitchen with dishwashing facilities, stove, microwave, washing machine and dryer. The service building also has a second bathroom specially adapted for young children. Here you will find a bathtub and a raised floor under the shower. In addition, there is a small toilet and a low washbasin - perfect for the small 'can do' guests at the campsite.

No matter what kind of adventure you are looking for, Habo Camping & Stugby is perfect for you.

For example, if you are looking for beautiful nature, Habo Camping & Stugby is perfect for you. For example, just outside Habo you will find Fiskebäckens nature reserve. A popular destination in the spring when the white flowers are in bloom. You will also find Stora Kärr's beech forest, also a nature reserve with beautiful hiking areas, and Hökensås nature conservation area full of ponds and lakes.

Every summer Habo Camping & Stugby organizes moose safaris. This takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We gather at the reception and go by bus with destination Tumbäcks Gård, just north of Habo where the experience begins.

If you are looking for an excursion that requires less planning, there are plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities around the campsite. Go on shorter excursions or take a run on the jogging track. If you're up for a real challenge, you can hop on a mountain bike and ride around Lake Vättern.

When it's time for a cultural visit, Habo Kyrka is at the top of the list. The wooden church is one of Sweden's biggest attractions and is filled with ornaments and magnificent paintings with motifs from Luther's catechism. The church is unique in the sense that its architecture resembles a cathedral, but is built entirely of wood.

Habo Camping & Stugby is a perfect campsite for the whole family. The campsite is cozily located next to Domsands Hamn, beach and Domneåns nature reserve along road 195, 15 kilometers north of Jönköping. The campsite is within walking distance of Lake Vättern with its beautiful sandy beach and pleasant marina. Here you can swim in Lake Vättern or sunbathe on the lovely beach.

When you want to be active, you can play volleyball, tennis or light your own campfire and cozy up. It is also possible to rent both bicycles and canoes, as well as a 5 meter long rowing boat with a motor. For smaller children, there are several playgrounds, one in each area. There is also a buried trampoline.
