Experience the beauty of Lofoten at Hammerstad Camping! Surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjords, this scenic destination is one of the world's most impressive. The unique Northern Lights and Midnight Sun are not to be missed. With so many fascinating sights and activities, you will want to come back year after year (Midnight Sun from around May 28th to July 14th).

We offer cabins in a quiet environment, with space for caravans and tents. We have 55 beds for rent in 12 cabins of various sizes. Hammerstad is located by the Austnesfjord, known as one of Europe's richest fishing fjords.

We also have boats for rent, and the opportunities for great nature experiences are many, whether you choose fishing or hiking. Svolvær, which is considered the "capital" of Lofoten, is located only 10 km south along the E10.

There are a number of activities that can be done near Hammerstad Camping in Norway. Some popular choices include:

1. Fishing: The nearby Austnesfjord is known as one of Europe's richest fishing fjords, and fishing trips can be organized by the campsite.
2. Hiking: There are many hikes in the mountains and fjords in the area, which provide the opportunity to explore the beautiful scenic area.
3. Boat trips: Boats can be rented from the campsite, and this gives you the opportunity to explore the fjord and nearby islands. There is a good chance of seeing sea eagles and other seabirds.
4. Photography: The unique northern lights and midnight sun in the area are not to be missed, and the scenic area provides many opportunities for photography.
5. Sightseeing: There are many interesting sights and landmarks nearby, such as the town of Svolvær, considered the "capital" of Lofoten, and the nearby fishing town of Henningsvær.
6. Animal and bird watching: The area is rich in wildlife, and it may be possible to see sea lions, whales, and sea otters during boat trips or hikes.
