The Harz-Camp Bremer Teich is located in one of Germany's most popular holiday regions - the Harz Nature and National Park. Numerous hiking and cycling trails start directly from the site, including the Selketal-Stieg, the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and many circular hiking trails that lead through forests, rocks and past clear streams.
Gernrode, a traditional spa town with historic half-timbered houses, cafés and small shops, is just a few minutes away. The Romanesque collegiate church of St Cyriacus is particularly worth a visit. Just 10 kilometres away is the UNESCO World Heritage town of Quedlinburg with its medieval town centre and more than 1,000 half-timbered houses - an absolute must for culture vultures.
Other excursion destinations in the area include the Devil's Wall, the Rappbode Dam with the famous Titan RT suspension bridge, the Harz narrow-gauge railway and the Brocken, the highest mountain in northern Germany. Families can also visit amusement parks, animal enclosures and museums in the region. The campsite is therefore the ideal starting point for discovering the Harz Mountains in all their diversity.
The Harz-Camp Bremer Teich is easily accessible via the B185 and is only a few kilometres from Gernrode. Despite the good transport links, the site offers absolute tranquillity in the midst of nature. The reception is friendly and helpful and is happy to provide tips on hiking routes, sights and events in the region.
The pitches are suitable for all vehicle sizes and dogs are welcome on request. WLAN is available in selected areas. Shopping facilities, bakeries and restaurants can be found in nearby Gernrode, while Quedlinburg offers a larger selection of supermarkets and leisure activities.
The campsite is particularly popular during the holidays and at weekends, so early booking is recommended, especially for pitches by the water or for glamping accommodation. The camp offers a high standard of comfort all year round and is therefore ideal for camping in the Harz Mountains, family holidays in Saxony-Anhalt or an active short trip into nature.
