Welcome to Kjærlighetskroken Family Camping! A charming and affordable campsite idyllically located at Rødøyveien 11 on the island of Tro in Nordland. The site has been run with care and hospitality since 2022, and is perfect for those seeking peace, nature experiences, and genuine Northern Norwegian hospitality. Here you will find 15 pitches for caravans and motorhomes. There are approximately 15 tent pitches, which can be distributed across the large green lawn**. There are also 3 simple rooms** for rent in the former school building.
Sanitary facilities with 3 toilets and 3 showers, divided between two changing rooms, are located in the former schoolhouse/holiday home. One of the 3 toilets is equipped with a changing table and washbasin. In connection with the pitches to the south, there is a small building with a WC and washbasin.
Guests in the holiday home have access to free Wi-Fi included in the price. The two largest rooms have a TV. A shared kitchen with coffee maker, kettle, microwave oven and large refrigerator is available for use by all guests at the campsite. For the time being, we only have a few camping guests at a time.
Outdoors you will find a pleasant barbecue area where guests can enjoy meals in the open air – please bring your own charcoal and firewood. During the summer months there is a small kiosk at the reception selling ice cream, soft drinks and other snacks.
For angling and fishing enthusiasts, a 15-foot Lasse motor dinghy with outboard engine (9.9 hp) and necessary equipment is available for hire. The boat can be rented by persons over 18 years of age, and the use of a life jacket is mandatory. Life jackets for children and buoyancy aids for persons under 90 kg are included in the rental price. Adult men must arrange their own life jackets. The boat can also be rented purely for recreation, or for crossing over to Flatøya. This is the boat for pottering around the island and nearby areas.
