Havreholmgård Landbocamping

Havreholmgård Landbocamping is an idyllic and organic farm campsite located near Ringsted on beautiful Zealand. Here you'll find a small and quiet campsite with a relaxed atmosphere - perfect for both short and long stays. The campsite is located west of the farm itself and close to the playground where children can play freely in a safe environment. The area is surrounded by trees and shrubs that provide shelter from the wind and screen out noise - all to give you a relaxing and natural experience.

You can choose between sunny or shaded pitches depending on your needs. Havreholmgård is run according to the principles of ecology and permaculture, and this is evident in the way the farm and its surroundings are designed. There's a natural focus on sustainability, biodiversity and grounding.

On the farm, you'll find a wild garden that provides the setting for exciting workshops and nature education. You can taste fresh herbs, berries and fruits from the garden, light a fire in the farm's fire pit or just enjoy the tranquillity and birdsong in the green surroundings.

Simple but functional facilities are available, including toilets, washbasins and access to electricity on site. You are also welcome to meet the animals, explore the playground and take part in activities that are often organised on the farm.

Havreholmgård is located in the middle of Zealand, just a few minutes' drive from the centre of Ringsted, where you'll find shopping, restaurants and cafés. You're also only about an hour from Copenhagen, Roskilde, the coast and many of Zealand's most popular attractions.

The area around the farm offers beautiful cycling and hiking routes, and you can easily go on excursions to fjords, castles, forests or museums. For the adventurous, a day trip to the North Sea or a cultural trip to the capital is recommended.

There is also a small private airfield about 250 metres from the farm where you can occasionally see home-built planes and rescue helicopters - especially popular with children and aviation enthusiasts.

The campsite at Havreholmgård is seasonal and is perfect for tents, small caravans and motorhomes. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and respect the farm animals and other guests.

As this is an organic farm campsite, expect a more natural and tranquil stay - away from the hustle and bustle of the city and close to real country life. Booking is recommended in high season and for events.
