Helsingborgs Bryggeri & Oxhallen

Helsingborgs Bryggeri & Oxhallen is a unique destination where craft beer culture meets the freedom of motorhome camping. Located in a historic brick building from 1880, the site functions as a microbrewery, event centre and — importantly for travellers — a motorhome pitch with electricity.

Guests arriving in a camper van or motorhome will find parking and a pitch with electrical hook-up provided, and the site is described as a “stallplats” (motorhome stop-over) with fenced grounds overnight. This makes it a rare find: a brewery you can stay at.

At the same time, the brewery offers a rich cultural and gastronomic experience. On-site there is the brewery area itself, a taproom / pub- and tasting-room, and the event hall known as “Oxhallen,” used for events, tastings, and group activities.

You can explore the brewing process with a guided brewery tour and beer tasting — a 1.5–2 hour experience that brings you from malt-crushing to bottle, and ends with samples of the brewery’s beers (and sometimes even hops and malt to taste). The cost for this immersive tour is about 395 SEK per person.

Prefer something quick? There is also a shorter “yard-sale / farm-sales Event” of 30 minutes — perfect if you have limited time. After this you can buy beer, cider or spirits directly from the brewery shop to enjoy at your leisure.

For those who stay overnight in their motorhome, the combination of camping plus access to real brewery vibes — brewing halls, pub/tasting room, historic ambiance, and direct on-site shop — makes Helsinborgs Bryggeri & Oxhallen a memorable and practical base for exploring Helsingborg.

Situated just a short walk from Helsingborg central station (about 15 minutes on foot from Knutpunkten / Helsingborg C), the brewery is extremely well placed for exploring the city’s charm.

From this base, you are within easy reach of Helsingborg’s welcoming city centre — restaurants, cafés, local shops and historic streets. The central location means you don’t need a car to enjoy the city’s ambiance, but if you do, you’ve already got a convenient parking pitch waiting.

If you're interested in beer culture: after your stay you can stroll into town for dinner or drinks, or stay on-site for a second round — the brewery often hosts events in Oxhallen, including tastings, gatherings, and celebrations.

Given Helsingborg’s coastal location (on Öresund), beaches and seaside attractions are not far — making the stay ideal for combining a taste of Swedish craft beer with coastal and city sightseeing.

• Age policy: Because the venue sells beer and spirits, alcohol sales are regulated: to buy alcohol you must be 20 years or older, and there are limits on how much you can purchase at once (e.g. up to 0.7 litres of spirits, or 3 litres of strong beer / other fermented drinks per person per visit).
• Price & group size: The full brewery tour with tasting costs 395 SEK per person and lasts about 1.5–2 hours. It’s ideal for individuals, couples or groups — and group bookings up to 150 people are accepted (for events in Oxhallen).
