Hennans Camping

Hennans Camping is a personal and family-friendly campsite in Hälsingland, beautifully situated right on the lakeshore in the small village of Hennan, just outside Ramsjö in the municipality of Ljusdal. Here you are greeted by tranquil nature, open views over the water and a warm atmosphere that makes many guests choose to stay longer than planned. The campsite was recently taken over by new leaseholders who aim to develop a pleasant and welcoming facility – perfect for families with children, couples and groups.

The site offers plenty of pitches for caravans and motorhomes as well as tent pitches, many with fantastic lake views. Electric hook-ups are available, and there is a fully equipped service building with showers, sauna, toilets and washing-up facilities. For those who prefer a little extra comfort, there are pleasant cabins with four beds.

One of the campsite’s major highlights is the long sandy beach and the popular water slide that leads directly into the lake – an obvious favourite with both children and adults. At the campsite there is an outdoor gym and a large football pitch.

In the grounds you will also find a restaurant with full serving licences, where much of the food is prepared from scratch. During the season you will also find a café and a small shop on site.

During the summer, activities and music evenings are organised, creating extra vibrancy and a sense of community at the campsite. This is a place where memories are made – and where you will be tempted to book your next stay even before you go home.

Hennan Camping is located in the heart of Hälsingland's nature, surrounded by forests, lakes and beautiful landscapes. The area around Hennan and Ramsjö offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, fishing and nature experiences all year round. The lake next to the campsite is perfect for swimming, canoeing and quiet evenings by the shore.

Within a 20-30 minute drive, you can reach Ljusdal, where there is a larger selection of restaurants, cafés, shops and services. Here you can also enjoy local attractions, cultural events and excursions typical of Hälsingland. For those who want to discover more of the region, there are several classic excursions, homesteads and nature reserves within easy reach.

Whether you're looking for quiet relaxation or active, adventure-filled days, Hennans Camping is a great base for discovering the best of Hälsingland.

The campsite season runs from 15 May to 30 September. The restaurant opens in June, and from the Midsummer weekend the restaurant, café and mini-market are open full-time. As the site has recently changed ownership, exact opening hours may vary during the season – up-to-date information will be published on an ongoing basis.

Hennan Camping is suitable both for shorter stopovers and longer holidays.
